Dear Students and Parents/Guardians:
Welcome back to another Great Year at Coweta Junior High School , Home of the Fighting Tigers! CJH has a high standard of excellence because you make it so. You get involved and you make dreams become reality. As you continue to pursue your dreams of becoming successful remember that opportunity begins within. Each of you are a part of the whole picture and by making the right decisions and being involved in activities and by doing your very best, success will follow. The two things in your life that you have complete control over are your attitude and your effort. We promise that if you have a great attitude and give great effort in all you do, we will all be successful.
Your years at CJH will be some of the greatest and some of the hardest years you will face. There are a lot of changes that occur in your life during this time and we are here to help you through. We believe that while all students certainly do not learn the same way or have the same goals, all children do have the same right to an education that instills in them a firm sense of self worth, a healthy curiosity about their world, a respect for their peers and perhaps most important, the knowledge and skills they will need to reach their goals. No Child Left Behind and End Of Instruction testing to graduate high school along with daily classroom teaching are all in place to ensure that if you give your best and encourage others to do the same, the challenges you all face together will make this year the best one ever.
